Omni-BN Photonic Platforms for Ultra-Low-Power AI
We develop BN-based photonic platforms by utilizing the unique optical transparency, wide bandgap, and electronic stability of boron nitride (BN). Our research focuses on integrating BN-based photonic components such as waveguides, resonators, and defect-emitter devices to control light–matter interactions within a unified material platform. Through the monolithic integration of these elements, we aim to establish scalable photonic systems that enable efficient optical information processing and ultra-low-power artificial intelligence computing.
